Nintendo Switch firmware version 20.1.1 now available

A new system software update is available. Nintendo Switch Firmware version 20.1.1 has been released and pushed out to systems. This comes mere days after the latest update for Atmosphere, so keep an eye out on compatibility updates from SciresM imminently. According to the patch notes, this new firmware fixes an issue where a handful of software would not boot after the previous update. Amusingly, there are no notes about stability improvements that enhance the user's experience.

Ver. 20.1.1 (Released June 2, 2025)

Fixed an issue where some software would not start after updating to system version 20.1.0.

my lite is banned so I can't download it lol
odd updates are on a different addres/servers iirc unless you go caught in the first few ban waves back in 17-18 (like i was on my unpatched) now they made it so system updates push through but you can't update games/eshop

Sure hope there are no security patches that make it harder to use Atmosphere that "enhance the user's experience".
yeah like how they made the 3ds freeshop useless by implimenting checks for fake tickets

I did not understand why Nintendo never show what features in new firmware 20.1.1 what have on list.

I see above said: Fixed an issue where some software would not start after updating to system version 20.1.0.

Did it solve for everyone or give less bugs and less crashes?

I know there are already hidden other features that people don't know what hide features have on list.

Example if allow old Switch owners to transfer all files like save data, digital games, etc to Switch 2 something like that.

Maybe block homebrew.

and go on.
