That's not a bad idea. I created a new account for my hacked Switch, so no big deal if it gets banned I guess.

So I woke up this morning to yet another peculiar ban report. A user by the name of moe-joe claims to have been banned with SX OS offline only, updated backups in OFW, used TX's AutoRCM, and some trimmed .XCIs. It should also be worth noting said user did not clear error logs but he had the GDPR blocked in one way or another.

@Draxzelex I was looking at the table, and look at some figures (roughly). 30% of SX users have been banned (when only using SX), 50% of LFS (when only LFS), and 60% for both. There's no real consistency in any of the other questions between the bans and lack of bans, so there's no real pattern in the supplementary. Though some of the reports are very old and may not be valid and just haven't been updated by the users reporting 'not banned' status whereas obviously the banned status isn't changing.

Pretty much everything has a not-small probability of bans.

Its like 3 people max. Everyone else used SX OS online at some point or used homebrew which introduce other factors that make the exact ban cause harder to pinpoint. The point I am making is that some of these offline bans are important to analyze as they have the least factors in determining exact ban causes. This user allows me to narrow it down to SX OS or AutoRCM. Updating backups in OFW is what got him caught and trimmed .XCI's may just be icing on the cake.

Not by itself, no but there are people who have been banned for using it. What is interesting is that people have been banned for using Checkpoint with SX OS, but not with Hekate unless they used LayeredFS concurrently.

(Deleted Wifi Settings, Backed up Nand, Created a Separate Profile before Using SX OS. When Finished with the Game Removed Memory Card, Deleted All Game Info & Profile, Uninstalled Auto RCM, Restored NAND and logged back online, no ban.

1. Not Sure, Whatever Came with SX OS 1.3, I just installed it from the Menu, didn't pay that much attention.
2. Never Cleared any Logs, Assumed with no Emulators or other tools, there wouldn't be any Errors from an .xci File, not to mention I intended to Restore the Nand.

Additional Comments: It's been almost two weeks now since I've used any sort of Homebrew, and have waited that long before I made a report to be extra sure about this ban report. I don't plan to use Homebrew at all anymore, especially with the risk of a ban, however I did use Homebrew online while playing Fortnite, and after 2 weeks, after supposedly more bans have been given out, I haven't been banned. I have bought a whole bunch of games in the eShop, and plan to continue that. While a report from a newcomer might seem suspicious, I created a new account to hide my actual identity.

Hmm, maybe using the GDPR block in of itself introduces a ban risk if you're only blocking the URL. Or maybe its just useless.
