    Hi, i have a doubt:
Recently, i got an unpatched switch. Just have done everything as the manual says and got my emunand working.
But, i booted into sysnand with the SDCard Inserted. Just for a few seconds. Any NSP was installed at that time.
    Is this risky?
Is safe to use emuMMC offline and, when i want to play online, just remove the SDcard and boot normally into sysnand?

Nobody has been banned for the contents on the sd card yet. I wouldn't worry that much.

Is there a difference between booting into ofw from power button and from sx os menu?

reason I ask is because I plan on getting sx core installed on my V2 but to boot into ofw with sx core, you can only do so through the sx menu by clicking boot original firmware. I want to play online on ofw and offline on emunand.

if there’s a bigger ban risk that’s been verified, I’ll just stick to my v1 with sx pro and emunand

Hey, got a question about banning and linked accounts.

I have a Switch that is clean as can be, and it is linked to my Nintendo account. All my games bought legally, connected online, all that stuff.

I have a second Switch in which I can hack. Both of them can be hacked honestly, but this second Switch I'm going to be using with the intention of using CFW and homebrew in emuMMC.

Is it safe to link my primary Nintendo account to the second Switch, in the sysNAND, as long as I keep all the "dirty" stuff in emuMMC?

Is there a chance that if my second Switch is caught, my main Nintendo account will be banned, or will it only be the console itself that will be banned if caught?

There is a difference in that booting Stock mode from the SX menu bypasses the fuse check. People were banned despite using this because they updated their .XCI file backups online which is a significant ban risk. If you don't do that, there is a chance you may not be banned.

ok so all it does is bypass the fuse check. Does Nintendo keep track of its logs being booted into ofw from the sx menu or it makes no difference? That’s my only concern.

It makes no difference , the problem is if you one day go online in cfw then you will be flagged and banned sooner or later, but if you start ofw there shouldn't be risk, excellent choice emunand for offline gaming and nand for online I have been doing that for like 2 years

The answer is we don't know since SX OS is closed source so it is hard to say whether its safe or not. If Hekate's stock mode is any indication, then SX OS' iteration is also fine. That still doesn't change the fact that people were banned for using it although those people used .XCI files which is the more likely culprit.

It also seems like sx core/ lite installation writes onto the nand itself. This might flag it easier for bans in the future. I got this from guys on tx support chats on xecuters page. It’s legit. Might want to include if they used sx core/ lite in the questionnaires for newcomers that get banned.

As useful as that information may be, the people who are installing the modchip are far from being a noob so they would at least know the basics when it comes to bans. Couple that with the fact that they are using a different "exploit" and it makes the statistics completely different.

    It's not a new exploit I asked to @hexkyz

Hes referring to how the modchip works on Erista versus Mariko. The modchip itself still flashes a custom bootloader to the console itself which is not seen with Fusee Gelee.

Hi, Was anyone here banned for only a logs mismatch?
I bought a hacked Switch from a 2nd party, ran Haku33 on it and connected to a wifi for a few minutes, didnt connect Nintendo account, then shut down the device and didnt connect without 90DNS since.
Only NAND backup I have is before running Haku33 but its dirty with .NSPs installed on sysNAND.
Previous owner never connected to Ninty servers after hacking.
Would it be better to stay with cleared logs on Haku33, or restore the backup and remove NSPs + tickets for less chance of ban?
Does only connecting to wifi and doing nothing else already causes a mismatch on Nintendo servers?

Log mismatches were the sole reason nx-dreport was removed. Someone was already banned for using Haku33 so it is not a safe option either. Restoring your backup would have a lesser chance of invoking a ban compared to Haku33. And yes, even connecting to Nintendo's server for a millisecond is enough to cause a ban.

I would say that horizonOS being closing source is the reason.

So far reading about setting up 2 emunands while keeping sysnand at 4.0.1 --- one 'clean' for online/updates online and 1 'dirty'. https://gbatemp.net/threads/multipl...restoring-a-clean-nand-for-online-use.562188/

I assume because it's been 2 months since it was posted that no bans had occurred yet? And even if bans occurred, it could be attributed to using a 'dirty' nand backup for setting up the 'clean' emunand?

No one has been banned for using emuMMC properly since its release (the only bans were due to the consoles not being clean).

Hello I just got the Core for my V2 and there's something bothering me..I accidentally boot in cfw before making a nand back up and emunand.. i immediately turned it off and made a nand backup and emunand... my concern is, is my nand back up dirty? Because I booted in cfw before doing a back up?
