Why can't people look back at history and realize that?

Decided to look back in history to see for myself.

Nintendo 64 Japan release price 25000 yen, US release price $199.

Gameboy Japan release price 12800 yen, US release price $89.

It's true that the Wii Japanese release price was 25000 yen and the US release price $249, but then the UK release price was 179 pounds.

I swear, you're just making that stuff up.

So you basically are telling me that according to the 90s it will be released at $200? That's even better that my prediction

I know the exchange rate back in the 90s was all wacky but I'm sure about the USD $249.99 price point. It can't be any more expensive than this.

Shut! Now Nintendo it's really into it givng what we really need this is sounding sweeter than before but the price it's what frighted me out Ohhhhhh not that fgood (~$300)

If they are selling it in Japan at 25000 yen it's going to be USD$249.99. And 249.99 english pounds. No matter the exchange rate it ALWAYS has been 100:1. Why can't people look back at history and realize that?

It's like the stupid Mbps vs MBps conversion. They always multiply by 8/divide by 8 when in reality tcp/ip uses 9 bits and if you add protocol overhead it always comes to 10:1....

A couple of years ago, the conversion rate from yen to US Dollar was around 100:1, but now it's closer to 83:1, meaning it takes less yen to make a dollar, but more dollars when converting back. Even further back, it was 125:1.

The Wii wasn't released in the 90s, yet the UK release price didn't follow your 1 to 1 rule.

You said "no matter the exchange rate it has ALWAYS been 100:1", both in Britain and the US.

Not only has it not "always" been 100:1, it apparently hasn't ever been 100:1 except in the case of the Wii in the US, and in that case the UK price wasn't 100:1.

I'm not saying anything other than a guaranteed 100:1 ratio, meaning $250 and 250 British pounds, isn't at all guaranteed, and that the history that you're basing this prediction on never existed. That's all. I make no predictions myself.

I wonder. If the 3DS can multitask, in that you can "freeze" a game to do other things, will it be limited to just 3DS games, or could it also with DS/DSiWare games? A DS game's ARM9/ARM7 binaries are loaded into memory when the game is launched, so what if Nintendo modified the binaries and inserted rerouting code to handle the function of multitasking? Would be cool to have this not be limited to just 3DS games.

could maybe "trick" the game that it's going into sleep mode (same as when you close the lid) so the game is in sleep mode.

Why can't they update the Dsi (original) to do multitasking? It'd need more hardware, meaning you'd need to buy a new one.

Lolwut?
Source, I demand it. I'm in college taking networking classes and I've heard no such thing.
