I'v played MadWorld, Anarchy Reigns, Bayonetta, and Vanquish.

Reminds me nothing of any of them.

I think that they need more JRPG's...

The core crowd completely overlooked the Wii's Japanese games, that's why people keep saying it sucks, and that's why the Wii gets a bad reputation. Chances are Western titles will be the focus, barring First Party games.

All of the good 3DS games are in Japan too.
I want Layton X Phoenix.
Also Monster Hunter.

I've never really played any monster hunter games... What are they like?

They are 3rd-person multiplayer action games where you team up to hunt all different monsters. Unlike a lot of online multiplayer games, where battles boil down to brute force attacking and occasional healing, Monster Hunter has a lot of strategy in defense, timing, and teamwork. There are a variety of weapons you can choose from, and each one has a completely different play style and strategy. Other than that it is a typical online game - hunt beasts, get materials, make new items, sell for money, etc.

I really think the showcase is going to be showing gaming footage of already announced games, so I'm not really holding high hopes anymore.

However I do hope for Nintendo to surprise me.
