Hardware nintendo 1.3 backup disc

theres a nintendo backup disc going around, they said it was left in the wii after repair. If it is ver 1.3 .......it says gamecube autoboot ........title is wii backup disc...........the maker code is 01 Nintendo and the gamecode is G10E ......anyone know the use for this? will it unbrick a wii? if not.......whats it good for?
