Misc Next Wifi Tourney

AW: Days of Ruin, Yu-Gi-Oh! WC 2008 (not hard to get cards), or Pogeymanz.

I would also like to have the tourney to be a few hours later as I am usually at school when they take place.

Matches in AW: DoR would be a bit much to pull off, considering the lengthy matches we would have. I think it's better to have matches with set days, like I've said before.

Don't forget reducing the maximum amount of people for the next tourney. 64 was a bit much to pull off.

Perhaps 40, that's more manageable. Remember all the people that attended the last one?

I'll give this some thought, but this just might be the next game.

Alright, I have some new ideas. Instead of just having the tournament on one night, it would be on multiple nights. In this idea, you would sign up with your available days, times and timezones. You would have 3 days to complete each match. The tournaments would last 2 weeks. This may sound like a odd way of doing things but I believe this idea will solve the time problems. Your opponent will be decided by timezones. And on a side note, tournaments that depend of 1v1 matches must have 16 people or 32 people.



Suggestions and feedback are always welcome.

Some kind of automated email notifying us of game and time like..a preset time before it starts would be nice, I'd planned to get in on the last one and forgot

I have a idea! What I can do for Wifi Night is just make it start a hour earlier (5-9pm GMT -5) This way Everyone should have a chance to be in it for a hour

I think I know what I want to do for the upcoming tournaments now. Stay tuned for details

You shouldn't look at it that way, since I can just go ahead and say ,"I don't want to play Tetris, because it I'd need good reflexes..."

Yeah, let's do Mario Kart! Everyone and anyone can play Mario Kart and anyone can win with a little luck but there's enough skill evolved that doesn't just make it random. Tetris and Mortal Kombat will just be the biggest freak who sits there and plays that crap more than anyone else.

Main reason I do not want to do mario kart is because it is too over used.

Organizing some Wii tournaments who be awesome too. I wouldn't mind having like a $1 entry fee via paypal (I would say like $5 but I know we have a lot of kids that it might be difficult for them to come up with it but I think anyone can come throw in a $1), winner takes all. I'd organize it but I doubt anyone would trust someone with only 5 posts.

I wouldn't trust 'em! But serious I will help organize. Having the people or person who organized this tournament would be good to avoid any problems.
