So could i maybe order some of cooling system to overclock it up abit and just to keep it cooler overall?

The types of games im be playing are mostly RPGs and MMO such as WOW and Guild Wars 2 but i may liked to go into FPS to see how much better they are on PC.

it will run most games on max and about all games on practically max with that I mean turning off insane settings that really are just made to stress. In terms of hdd speed 5200rpm and 7200rpm really don't matter a lot, I would however recommend you getting a decent ssd for windows and programs like a browser and maybe your most played games because especially for general computer usage it does matter a lot.

In case you have not looked a lot to my previous post it does provide quite a few much needed changes to your setup.

Well if PC gaming is 24 times more powerful then current consoles then im sure that next gen is gonna isnt gonna be a problem. Ok so i feel alot better about my build then but i may switch somethings out if newegg will swap them such as the case and HDD and might upgrade the Processor to the next 1 cause newegg has a good deal on it atm.

Yeah, the super high-end ones (GTX 680). That 7870 isn't going to run next-gen games at 60FPS with 4/8x MSAA. Maybe at console quality (30FPS, FXAA) for the first-half of the generation.

I'm not an AMD fan but ...... You may wanna get yourself a liquid cooler for the cpu , and save that 3TB drive for storage and buy yourself SSD . I would reconsider the case too but thats on you.

Ok guys i gave newegg a call and they agreed to swap out and charge me the difference and updated my build from all the tips and help i got here so see what yall think of the new build.

Your pc build was fine before, it looks a bit better now though, why so much hate on amd? Thier cpus are cheap compared to intel and peform just as well, anyways your setup will play most games on max settings, i hqve a quad core and can play most games at max settings, most games don't even use all of the cores anyway becaue they are ported from console versions.

Ignorance aside, there has been almost no AMD hate in this thread. The powers that be (namely me) already said it would be fine for his needs.

But I will say this. They don't perform the same as intel, they perform differently. Either way, they don't do most of the work gaming requires - that's the graphics card.

Also, since saying it irks me... porting is not the same as reprogramming. Work out the difference and PM me if you want a debate since that is not the point of this thread.

The whole AMD VS Intel thing breaks down to money.

If you have unlimited funds go with Intel they make the fastest CPU money can buy right now, of course you will pay about a thousand dollars for the performance...

If your on a budget pick AMD for a hundred bucks maybe two hundred, you can get easily 70% of the performance of that thousand dollar CPU from AMD and keep a lot of money in your pocket.

Edit: My 70% number may be a bit further off than I had imagined... I honestly have not checked in a while but wow Intel must be feeding those i7's some steroids for breakfast or something... Never mind that 70% maybe closer to say about 50%... but still even the lowliest of CPU's these days is plenty.

So the upgraded build i posted is overall better now? Better PSU,7950 video card, the better 8 core AMD, a better case to put it all in and the black series HDD

Ok guys got everything in today on my updated build and yay it has ran anything i threw at it so far on ultra.Got the processor running very good overclocked at 4.2 with no heating problems at all and it has been running all day ofc the case i went with has 2 little fans and 1 giant fan while the video card has 2 small fans on it as well.
