Video of level 6-B: (parallax was added to the bg afterwards)

By the way, completely offtopic, but look how crap the DS Phat screen (top) really is compared to a lite; color reproduction is absolutely awful.

Progress update;
Finished a couple more levels, but got stuck at 6-T2. Really no ideas for that level at the moment. So, moving on to World 7.
As a spur-of-the-moment thing, I tried to very hackily get a new enemy into the game. Here it is;

Not the most exciting thing in the world, but variety's good?

Bit of a hiatus lately. I've been hospitalized, which makes development of romhacks rather impossible.

Anyway, I'm back now. For now, I inserted some new code and also redid the titlescreen theme, which you can hear here:

What happened? And will there be a pre-patched .nds version of this? I don't know much about NDS hacking, so I don't want to setup anything fancy to play this on my flashcard.

The game will likely be released as an .xdelta patch, which you can apply to an original NSMB rom with XdeltaUI.
From there, you should be able to run it on about any flashcart.

Anyhow, looking forward to this greatly skawo, can't wait to see more.
Very excited to play this, that's for sure.

Don't really see it'd be necessary; it's not like there's the racoon/tanooki suit to use it.

It's either that or the player wondering "where the hell do I go". Also, I wouldn't say it's impossible to do it differently for sure ;)
