Hacking newbie question-maintaniance

ok i will get my nintendo ds lite today finally and i have the r4ds !! and the m3 lite

now my question is when im not playing is it better to leave the flash cards in the nintendo ds or does that drain battery or something and i should put them seperately and only insert them when im playing ??

leave both of them on. The wear and tear of continuously removing them is bad. Anyways, pretty much they're not batt drainers. It's just playing ds games on the m3 that will kill your battery :|
