Hacking (Newb) Qs about Acekard

Hi all, i'm new here and a newbie to all these acekard stuff, so please help me answer some of my qs as I just got acekard today.

1) How do I check what's the version of my acekard software?
2) I see there are some cheats already inside, but how do i add on to it? do i need any editing software?
3) I'm specifically looking at how to use cheats in pokemon game (white and platinium) I'm using a jap white game and EU platinium game. Will the cheats be in jap for my white game?

1-You can check all the important stuff if you hit START at AKAIO, select More and then Help.

2-You need to install R4CCE in your PC and add the cheats through it. You can also download other cheat database from cheats.gbatemp.net

3-All the cheats will be in English if you install the English version of AKAIO.
