Is emunand possible through system settings?
Luckily I have made a backup from sysnand before trying it updated mine.
This would be the best easy way anyway to get my games from eshop.

It's a bit difficult to understand what you're asking.

Are you trying to update emunand? If so, yes, you can do that through system settings (Make sure you're in emunand).

Or are you saying you updated Sysnand on accident?

I was in emunand or Gateway mode.
Yes I updated sysnand on accident.

If your sysnand is on 10.6, there's no way to get into your emunand you have. Your best (and only) bet for CFW is hardmodding to install that nand backup you have.

It didn't show GW after I was in Gateway mode. I am very sure.
I have read that you can update emunand through a rom. But not high enough to do a system transfer.
Another question will the games be readable after I downgraded to 9.x?

your games will be fine after the downgrade.
the safest way to update emunand is from setting but you need to make sure you are in your emunand

I was 100% sure I have even selected the menu before entering system settings.
I haven't format emunand. Not sure if that is required.

Are you saying that you never formatted/made an emunand?

So you launched GW mode into sysnand and then updated? Here's a pro-tip: Never do that again! If you want to update you must use the gateway menu to format an emunand first. After that gateway will boot into your emunand and not your sysnand. Then you can update your emunand.

Ah yeh now you mention it I remember it now from my old 3ds.
Oh well now I can do system transfer without to worry for sysnand.
