Hardware New Wii Update?

Just got a message, saying it wanted to update the Check Mii Out Channel, and it has to perform a Wii System Update.

Don't wanna risk bricking my Wiikey...

Don't worry. They are no firmware updates for NTSC-US consoles as of yet that will do any harm.

Uh, well, it went to update, and it said it had no updates.

It doesn't need to do a full system update because of one channel UNLESS your Wii firmware is out of date.
