So how do I deal with files like:

TITLE.TMD
46435750.TIK
00000006.APP

etc.

I assume I somehow have to pack these into a .wad?

EDIT: nvm, I see no public wad packer exists

Think we'll see a public wad packer quite soon.

why didn't they release some N64 stuff?

yeah tell me about it, i couldn't care less about the snes stuff, plenty of emulators run those type of games fine without me having to do all this wad stuff, when the n64 stuff come out then make a announcement, that's what everyone wants.

Well, I kinda hope it wont go public, as this rushes a patch from Nintendo even further. If the gropus would just release the .wad files (like they did on Wii #VC001), I'll be more than happy.

you shouldn't worry so much, with the progress that the Wii scene is making we couldn't care less if nintendo releases a update to stop all of this.

They are deliverd as wads.
Being : title.wad

Just tryed it using Twilight Hack.

1) Download http://waninkoko.wiinewz.com/WAD-Installer_v1.zip
2) Rename wad-installer.elf to boot.elf and put on root of your SD card.
3) Put title.wad (From VC Rip) on the root of your SD card.
4) Put the SD card into your Wii (Front slot)
5) Run twilight princess, run backwards or talk to the dood.
6) It will run some lines of code, and boot up the wad installer..
6a) Press 1 & 2 until it detects your wii mote.
6b) Press A when it tells you, and wait for it to install.

The it should start installing ...
I waited 7 minutes nothing happend so
I hard resetted my Wii..

Just to note it doesn;t brick your wii.

But I wonder how long it would take ?
For info I'm using the Diddy Kong Quest vc title.wad

"put the wad installer renamed to boot.elf, but only thing i get is some code dump after it starts installing"
same here ...

Same problem here..

Did you find a solution yet?

Use the repack of Diddy Kong Quest and try it with a different SD card, some cards have a problem with the Wii.

Yep, it works.

I have tried different SD card:

- Sandisk 2GB -> doesn't work
- Kingston 256MB -> doesn't work
- Sandisk 512MB -> it works!

Succesfully installed on my Wii PAL the release Kirbys.Adventure.VC.PAL.Wii-BlaZe

Edit: Now, from the Wii Shop, the game Kirby (NES) is marked "already downloaded" and I can download it, without using WiiPoints

Tried a Sandisk 1 GB - didn't work ;_; Just stops while displaying odds numbers. How long is the install supposed to take?

Just tried it with SMB3 and got an error exception. Starngely after rebooting my Wii I found the SMB3 channel in the Wii menu and it works flawlessly. Is this for all of you who got it to work?

Because I have succesfully deleted the VC hacked Kirby installed game, and I have download the game again from the WiiShop.
It works!

So now I have an original VC game.

Thats awesome!

Can the games be started from the SD card or does it have to be on Wii:s internal memory?
