i just used the zelda exploit

i started the wad-tool, placed the *.wad of kirby in the root of my sd-card and installed it.

If you can't use the TP hack, you need to chip your Wii...

is get TP,
get the save file...
and then have the elf file on your SD card called boot.elf

Maybe if you have a chip you access the wad-installer through some other way

Yes, it does use the "trucha exploit", and since they are essentially channels, they will not work after IOS37 is activated.
