I hate to sound paranoid, but is there the slight possibility Nintendo could brick the Wii's of those who try this, if they can tell that it isn't signed by them, or if we re-download and they figure out we never paid?

All hypothetically speaking of course.

Well, It's not like they have access to your wii. The only possibility is that they see that your VCs aren't paid for, if you DL them from the shop channel, and then ban you from their service.

Got the links from helpme but only [Wii][VC]The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time[WAD][PAL] were in Wad format but I got no PAL Wii so I can't test this, feel free to pm me about the link because I'm curious if that rip works.

Yeah, did it twice (and i know the risk). However it's possible that N changed something in the Wii Shop so it's not possible anymore.
I did it 3-4 hours ago.

I don't have a PAL Wii... only an NTSC so I can't test it out, I was only thinking logically.

And for those that didn't get the refrence, it's because of the fake Zelda wad (search for the zelda cartoon on youtube to get it)
