Can you actually boot outdated programs on 10.4 from Homemenu if your Wifi connection is turned off or it still ask you update before?

In theory, no, because it checks a list of titles/versions on NAND, and if you've been on the Internet recently, it will have downloaded the newest list and still nag you even when offline.

Just found this out after updating rxTools emuNAND. Ironfall can't be launched at all without updating it.

If it's emunand you're worried about, use CubicNinja.CIA. But a new payload will probably have to be done first, I guess, unless the latest just happens to work.

ummm... I think you're missing the point? If you can launch BBM, you already have sigchecks patched and don't need ironhax.

Seems they are going to attempt to block out all *Hax out there because they can and may create a patch for Cubic Ninja and OoT3D and block out their vulnerabilities.

Hopefully one of the CFWs out there can patch 10.4+ so that it allows you to play un-updated games.

Took the plunge on a hax'd New 3DS XL to try, you can't launch games that aren't on their latest versions, meaning Ironhax is killed.

I could see this as a HUGE problem to people that don't have internet access. This may mean that if you no longer have internet access, and you cant get any now, you may not be able to play your game that you spent money on.

10.4 working on latest ReiNAND and latest firmware.bin on my New 3DS, but on the settings screen it now says Ver. 10.4 instead of Rei 10.4 like before updateing

I just updated my EmuNAND (after backing it up) and it seems fine. Everything still works fine under rxTools.
