Hi, i just recently ordered both a gateway cartridge and seemingly i was able to find a used Old 3ds on firmware 7.2.0-12U. Do i need to downgrade my firmware to 4.4? Any help and guidance would be appreciated. 
Additional Notes: I did find out a method of installing gateway via a browser hax, but i do not want to turn on my wifi? Would turning on my wifi install a new update thus crippling my use of the 3ds/browser?
