Android New to Android

I jut got an HTC Inspire v4G from AT&T. And i still really like the old iphone 4 dock thing at the bottom ( like touchwiz).But i love Androids widgets, Applications button. I'm very new to the android scene and i wanted to know if therew as a way i can have a touchwiz interface i guess. Is it possible? Will i have to root? if i do have to root can you send me to useful links
Also heres my phones firmware and stuff:
Android 2.3.3
HTC sense version 2.1
And if i have to post anything else just tell me and i'll gladly do it.

no, you can't have touchwiz, but you can get a replacement launcher like ADWLauncher or LauncherPro that has an app dock

I'd suggest switching to a MIUI ROM such as this one.

Downfall: No applications button, and Swype is a little hard to install on it. I still love it more than any ROM available for the Inspire though.

I tried MIUI, Its ok but Applications button y u no thar. I also trid the leaked ( not really) Ice cream sandwich launcher, Thats what i'm using for now until i find a droid-like thing.
