New Tales of Games Announced, 2 New and one Not so New

Looks like the big summer announcement is out. The latest issue of Jump Magazine has revealed three new Tales titles in development, two of which are for PlayStation 3.

The new titles are: a new untitled Tales game for PlayStation 3, Tales of Graces F for PlayStation 3, and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 for PSP.

Tales of Graces F is an HD port of the Wii original released in Japan late last year. The PS3 version will include added attacks, a new outfit for Sophie, and of course, a visual upgrade. This is scheduled for winter 2010 in Japan.

The untitled Tales is listed in the magazine as “New Tales”. No real details were shared on this one, besdies an illustration of a city. Release date for this is still TBA.

Finally, PSP’s Radiant Mythology 3 will feature over eighty characters from the Tales series. Tales of Graces hero Aspel has been confirmed for the game. This will launch in 2011.

Namco currently has no plans to release "Tales of Graces (PS3)" in North America.

Well, the new untitled one has a higher chance of coming out compared to the others, as well as, Graces isn't even out in english on the Wii.

This is quite a slap in the face for Tales fans (US and EU, at least)...no new games since Vesperia. Also a slap into the face for Wii Grace owners (just like 360 Vesperia). They should seriously take the time to finish a game instead of needing it ported to another console and 'upgrading' it. Or at least 'remake' the game and turn it into a directors cut.. (looking at you, ToDR).

This. They just locked away the content in the 360 version of Vesperia. PS3 version isn't released in a region that's not Japanese and the DLC is nowhere to be seen. Silly Scamco and their silly excuse: "It's easier to port 360 code to PS3 than vice versa". Fuck off Namco, if it's easy to port one way it's also easy to port back.
