this topic need to be stickied, too many new "4.3 firmware" thread everyday...

I doubt this will make a difference. There will always be people who will not even attempt to read a thread with so many pages.

It will reduce the threads created even if not stop it completely. I suppose banning everyone who made a thread about it would probabally get rid of the vast majority, but then again I don't see a high post count on their accounts so they're more an ask a question and never go back kinda group and wouldn't care if their accounts were banned.

1. With Priiloader. They're useless right now because AFAIK, a new version of Priiloader must be released to support System Menu 4.3.

Ummnn... think about this for just a second, won't you? How could the codes be converted, tested, and confirmed (which they are) if priiloader couldn't be used on 4.3?

Of course at the moment, you would probably have had to have used wanin's firmware updater, but still...

Hmmm... Well I have Priiloader on my 4.3 Wii.

I have no idea why there is a difference but its there.

>doesn't work, check firmware updates

>killself

>my face when greentext isn't green
Joking aside you will just have to wait for a new method, which will probably be available in a few days.

Upgrading to 4.3 doesn't touch boot2 if it's already at boot2v4, so if you had bootmii installed on boot2v4 before upgrading then it should still be there.
Then you can use cboot2 to rehack your wii.

There are also other ways if you can't use bootmii as boot2.

I've successfully downgraded IOS 15 with IOSes that comes with 4.3... Patched IOS 36... and installed fakesigned content... awaiting donations

I need a tester before I can publish it to the public, I don't want to brick anybody's wii...

I need a reliable/knowledgeable tester whose wii have bootmii@boot2, with clean 4.3 ios on his wii...

I know how you did it

This way it should be possible on a virgin Wii.

Create a virgin Wii:
On softmod Wii fw4.1,delete every IOS above 200, use nandclean to remove priiloader.
remove the softmod hidden channels like Disc, Jodi, HAxx.

In the Wii menu, update officially to fw4.3

I suppose thats virgin enough for you?
Not that i'm going to do that now, but i made lots of Wii's virgin like this.
(i don't have bootmii on my own Wii)

hmmz, why not?
With the update you get all new stub IOS above 200, and the others are updated.

How virgin do you want it then?
As virgin as it can be has the following:
