I've rewrote it in English here : http://www.wiidewii.com/read.php?3,12669

Dunno why it got deleted, still no response from admins and the mods of this section (ether2802, raulpica, tj_cool, shaunj66)

edit: got response, someone made it invisible... yet we don't now the reason.

Probably dont wan't spies from u know where to see it.... seriously they practically gave away smg2 now this menu to hopefully
help keep metroid and newer stuff coming like donkey kong country unpirated to some extent.... think about it u just shitted on
their so called secure Installed Operating Systems code in less than a few days.....

Ninty would probably come after us i think that's the reason....

But actually this still stems from twiizers exploits and u sealed the deal with the rest well done.... I also tried it on 2 of my 6 wii's
and it worked flawlesly minus the usual code dumps....

eventhough it crash like crazy when exiting tbr i do manage to restore ios 36 with tbr 1.3 (is this the right term to call it?) or just maybe it just crashes due to i started the app via MMM, since i only get code dumps in loadmii via smashstacks or indianapwns.

i tested this on my bootmii capable as boot2, removed all cios and cioscorps, upadated many times via nitty and checked my ios via sysCheck that all are suposed to be updated and stubbed.

still gonna test that scifii thing later when i revert it back

==========================================

1. Grab WiiPower's latest TBR (1.13) from wiibrew which contains latest
revision numbers (http://www.mediafire.com/?qzmqirhnuyz)
2. Download lowest revision of IOS 41 from NUS using NUSD (such as v2835)
3. Install IOS 41 using wad manager, it's a ninty signed IOS and it
will gracefully install with non-trucha IOS
4. Use WiiPower's TBR to downgrade IOS 15 as usual... just select the IOS to be used as 41..
5. After downgrade, patch and install IOS 36 as usual...
6. Get rid of Korean IOS 41...
7. Do whatever you do with your trucha enabled IOS 36 ;p

ps1: TBR might codedump on selecting IOS 15, retry in case...
I had modified da_letter_a's mod but I got all kinds of problems
with the console code so I can't release it ATM.
ps2: Use the usual exploits such as SmashStack or Indiana Pawns to run TBR...
ps3: If you are noob, do not attempt to do this, just wait TT to release new bootmii
ps4: The essence of this workaround is the fact that we (non korean wii owners)
don't have korean ios but we can install any revision of them and use, one
area Nintendo just neglected I guess..

Well not quite like that, registered people too can't see it.. even I, the owner of the topic, can't see my post... Other sites already posted noob friendly guides with bundled nintendo stuff btw... Can't see the reasoning behind this at all...

i tried wiicrazy's solution over and over yesterday. still trying actually i can get ios15 downgraded but then tbr just crashes over and over again when trying to patch ios36. i have tried easily 50+ times. still no go every time same thing crash on selecting ios15 to try and patch 36.

I have built a TBR modification with integrated IOS41 installer: http://www.mediafire.com/?z1mzwegjjml

OMG, when are people going to learn that if you modify GPL code, you have to release modified source (not just a binary). It's not optional, it's required.
TBR's source is released under GNU GPL Version 2, if you don't know what that means, read it (here or in the COPYING file included with any GPL source).

pretty funny talking about copyrights on a Let Us Help You Hack Your Console sub forum ...

iow who gives a fuck about some US agreement in an international community?

your own Wii/PC is probably full of Copyrighted stuff you didn't even pay for

The GNU General Publix Licence is not limited to the US. In fact there were a couple of law suits (in Germany) against people not including sourcecode and such. They all were found guilty of violating the licence.

Violating the GPL is worse than piracy.

Thanks R2-D2199, I didn't intend to sound pissy, I just get sick of people stealing code (I'm guessing that was not your intent).

@elmariachi: The GPL is not a copyright law, it is the opposite (copyleft), it ensures that if you want your code to be free (as in freedom, not as in beer), that anybody who uses it must contribute to the coding community.
