Gaming New Super Mario mini-games question

I just started playing NSM and found that the mini-game section already contained a bunch of games. I was under the impression that these games needed to be unlocked?

Are all mini-games accessible from the start? Or are there unlockable mini-games as well?

all the games are accessible from the start i think, didn't notice any changes after i finished the game..
but there are some games that you can only play in multiplayer, not sure exactly which ones, but im pretty sure of this

Cool. I was looking forward to unlocking them, but this will be fun, too.

But aside from quickly going through the first level, I don't know when I'll get back to playing NSM. I'm overwhelmed by the number of games, that all I can do is check out each title for 10-15 minutes before moving on to the next.
