So I added the water to the underground level and they look like this:

Does the water looks too dark or it match the shade from the cave?

Also I flipped the castle from the start:

So I decided to release a beta up to world 3. This may be the only beta(depending on how thing go)

To add more challenge, I added a custom level for every secret exit there is in the game. The levels are not to complex and are based on smb1, without adding sprites that are not found in smb1. The canons aswell have their own level.

Some levels are quite buggy, such as 1-5(1-2 lost levels) has problems using the retro scroll in certain areas(wont work). This will be fixed(hopefully) in the other release.

The hack will ONLY work in the U version of the rom!!!!!(due to a special function applied to the hack)

The beta includes 29 levels.

NOTE: When you reach world 4 or higher, if you enter a level in that world, the game will freeze.

In 1-5 (1-2 LL) the auto scroll in the bottom screen isn't working!
I read in your post something with 1-5? I think you meant something others....

And I'm asking me if there is a secret exit in 1-Tower?

Yeah, I didnt want to make a hard to find star coins, and not too hard in the secret level designs.

Yes there is a secret exit in the 1- tower(however, I place it well hidden^^), there is a secret exit in all the levels that need them, like 2-3, 2-4, etc.

Let see if you can find them all!^^

Its not a sprite, but an unused entrance

Is the number 14 in the entrance type checkbox. More precisely, the middle one of the 5 unused entrance group.

Its not a sprite, but an unused entrance

I have found multiple problems with this release...

1-2:

In the first part, where the small pillars are, there are only supposed to be 2 tall (4-block high) pillars, not 3
bonus area: You forgot the 10-coin block
warp zone: nice HICCUP...


1-3:

first lift is too slow
star coin overlaps normal coins
thin tree after halfway point is one block too high
other moving platforms are too slow
tiled castles look horrible


1-Tower:

Hammer brother =/= Bowser


1-4:

Bonus level: You forgot invisible blocks and mushroom/fire flower block...
when exiting bonus level, feet show out of bottom of pipe...


1-5:

You put an overworld pipe entrance here but not in 1-2?
Forgot two green koopas
Feet sticking out of pipe again :s


1-A

Lifts are too slow
Castles look bad...


1-Castle:

Almost impossible to beat bowser without getting hit

Now that I play 1-3 again, you are right, the star coin looks weird.... I will change the star coin position. same with the bowser arena, its to hard. BTW thanks for the bug report
