We're very happy to have Destructobot on the team as he's met these criteria for quite some time.
If I ever get close enough to look them in the eyes, we may be welcoming a couple more.

Jugg, that's the kind of thing that prevents you from being a mod. You must show utmost maturity and clean judgment. Mod isn't something you want to do because it is cool, it's something to help make this forum a better and more friendly place. It also helps to take the stress off our other hard working staffs. There is a reason why GBAtemp is so awesome, because the mods are awesome. This is the reason why becoming a staff here isn't that easy.

I don't envy you one bit Destructobot, I've personally found being forum staff (not here, this forum seems to be in better shape somewhat than most and I don't ever want to ruin my perception of that by finding out differently) winds up taking a toll on one's outlook for the hopes of humanity at large.
