I recently purchased a 500 gb SS hard drive to use for my Wii. I formatted it to fat32, and cloned all of the data from my old drive to it. When I connect it to my Wii and boot it up everything works fine in USB Loader GX except the GameCube games. The old drive works fine but the new one doesn’t & I can’t figure out why. GameCube games work when I load them directly from Nintendont, but not in USB Loader GX.

Might need a 'Y splitter cable', I had an issue with an SSD on my Fire Cube and the issue was that the Cube didn't provide enough power.

edit:

Nevermind, just re-read the post.

To confirm, the games appear in USB Loader GX but they're not running? What MIOS are you running?

Make sure you're using USB Loader GX r1283 and Nintendont 6.503.

If your Wii is connected to the internet then USB Loader GX r1283 can download and install Nintendont from it's update menu.
