Found this project on github called GodmodeOnePatcher

This looks sketchy as all hell, with it being this persons only project on github, and also the README looking very AI-esque. Any opinions on this?

Will probably get your console banned if it even works. I wouldn't try it personally. Dev mode is only $20 (cheaper even in some countries) and safe from being banned.

Just for fun i tried it, and as expected it does exactly nothing. And looking at the files, they just are some random text, and not a binary like i would expect. It just seems to be a hoax.

The gmo.bin and gmo.firm files have a fixed file size which doesn't look normal. Only difference is that the FIRM file is 10MB short of 16MB. As expected when opening both files in a hex editor, they show a bunch of random characters instead of "actual" code as promised. So yes, this is a scam.

The code is as basic as to what some skid learning Python would do. Shows a text-based menu then copies the two files onto the USB.

Anyone tries to upload those files to VirusTotal or any other malware analysis platform?

Since most people will use either a window or android device to download them, there's a good chance its malware targeting those operating systems.

You just need to open the "exploit" files in an editor to see that it's only bullshit.
Also what is the python script about? It copies the files to the USB stick - awesome work!

It's simple that even a 9-year old who had first learned how to use Visual Basic could do it.
