Wuschmaster, I purposely made the font colors of some of the text closely match the background on the load screen for a more iPod-like experience...you can change the color in the ini file if you want.

Does anybody know if there is a way to "turn off" some of the text on the logo.bmp and icons.bmp screen and the icon select borders?

you can use my program injektor, it has functions to make the icon select square the same colour of the background, also you can edit the texts on the main screen.

it'll made you're skin the default skin directly in the firmware of the R4
