Man I have to agree with WiiUBricker most of these new Pokemon are ugly
I still think they should have stayed with the original 151 and maybe add like 10 -20 new ones which are super rare or something like that for each new season instead of adding another 100+ each time :/
When I was a Child it was awesome especially as it was possible to know all of those Pokemon and they even had songs about catching all 151 but now it is impossible ... maybe there are some who know them all but those guys must know nothing else to have enough space left in their brain for all of these names and stuff.

Seeing older Red and Green/Blue makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Not sure I can call it nostalgia. More like that feel when a parent sees his/her child grown up fine. Damn, now I feel old :\

Rowlet and Litten's final evo still look crappy to me. Only one that looks even decent is Popplio's.

Sight of Cynthia makes me think Diamond/Pearl remakes. Regardless, this is pretty exciting. I don't mind the final evolutions, don't know why Rowlet's final form is half ghost instead of flying.

I'm still going for Litten. Rowlet and Popplio is still a no go for me (Poppilo's final evolution looks unappealing to me and Rowlet's final looks...okay). People can finally shut up about Litten's final evolution is a Fire/Fighting.
EDIT: Not to say they all look terrible. Just that Popplio3 looks...eh? Rowlet3 looks okay, and Litten3's the only one I thought it looks cool.
Also, Cynthia and Wally are back. That's cool! But what shocked me the most is Red and Blue! They aged!

I'm not sure strong trainers will even use megas, I think they'll just use Z moves.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.
The issue is DRM -

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
