Hacking New PCB for EDGE ?

Today i recieved a samples for review from ConsoleSources.com of the EDGE

So i wondered if womething was changed to the old EDGE and opened both, here is the result:
(Wonder why the 2 legs are closed on the new PCB, that's all the difference i could find)
(Tested the kernel and comp. nothing new or better)

Blue is the new EDGE, green is my old EDGE

hmm... it seems like that Edge have a Hardfware update

Yeah, but all is identical except on the SST chip 2 legs are closed, that's all the difference i can tell :/
Ow and it has a letter E on it

, wonder if it means Hardware Revision 1.1 E or whatever, or just E from English

No need to be sorry at all, i didnt open my carts and took pics. I just figured by looking inside of the SD slot.
Oh and by the way my 1st generation Edge dont have that 1.1 in the place or i cant just see it when i look inside the slot.
Anyway would love to open the red PCB one but i need to resell em.

One thing i wonder, why you need a review sample if you already have an Edge ?

My EDGE has the bridged legs too, I was thinking of removing the solder, but now I won't. I wonder what it does.

Well i didn't ask for it, it was just in the mail this week, with a little note, "Please review EDGE with latest firmware" came from an online webshop i found out later
(I do reviews for http://www.ndss.nl a dutch only nds site like gbatemp.net (not as big))

I also have seen red PCB's, and the green and blue you posted. They were all mixed together in the package i received.

I got a gross green one.

I haven't opened the EDGE cart at all, I can just see a little bit of green through the MicroSD slot.

When I looked through the SD slot on my new EDGE, the board is blue.
At least I know its brand new
