Hacking new ntsc wads?

Ive seen some new ntsc wads floating around (star fox, castlevania 2, contra, etc.) and I want to know if anyone can confirm if theyre working. Also, whats the risk of a faulty wad bricking my wii?

There are 60 NTSC releases out there that are not scene approved. 59 VC games and 1 Opera Web Browser. They are fine, but be careful. There are some fake ones, but I don't think any of them do anything truly malicious.

Haha I didn't know they kept track of Wii releases. Been using it for GBA for a long time and never bothered to scroll to the bottom of the page
