Hardware New Nintendo 3DS XL Micro SD

i have a question this time about micro sd card capabilities for my new 3DS XL guys, is this console compatible with a 64 GB micro sd card?

Or just 32 GB maximum?

I found an article giving instructions how to format to FAT32 even a 128GB micro sd and will work on the console.

I searched Nintendo site and says only 32GB is compatible.

So my question is will work a 64GB on FAT32 Format?
If so, will I have any inconveniences with saving data on my console!?

As long as its formatted to Fat32 ive heard cards upto 256gb will work. I got a 128gb card stuck in my N3dsXl

There may be a chance you may see a slow down a little bit, but there should not be any problem with the card from that.
