Hacking New Nintendo 3ds XL cannot read 3ds carts but can read and play DS carts

After Updating my boot9strap to 1.3 and LUMA to 9.0, my new 3ds xl cannot, for some odd reason, read 3ds carts but however can read DS carts. Is there some way to fix this in the LUMA settings, please help.
