WHY I'M REQUESTING;
I'm requesting this game because it looks completely adorable, and I'd love to see how they gamified the story. There could also be extra stuff not seen in the movie, which I've been wondering about since I love the movie and would want to see that (yes this means I haven't watched the whole video up there lol).
OFFERINGS: I could help test it, and I have knowledge of the movie.

couldn't an admin or mods unlock editing for you ?
also for your game, text is basic and can be edited in .htx files under demura/novel, but the font doesn't have any half width characters, so you gotta add them yourself

That doesn't help me then. I don't know Japanese, nor how to edit .htx files or add half-width characters.

As far as unlocking the editing.. The OP post was from 2011. Additionally, it wasn't the original account handling the thread anymore, so there are two options for edit lock possibilities:

1. Time could have locked it.
2. It's literally because OP wasn't on their original account anymore.

Game Name:
  • Thomas & Friends: Start with Math and English (Kikansha Thomas - Kokugo Sansuu Eigo)
Release Date:
Game Info:
  • Genre: Education.
  • What it's about: An edutainment game that teaches basic math/Japanese/English with the help of Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends (well, everyone that appeared prior to Series 8).
  • Popularity in Japan: To my knowledge, I'm not so sure.
  • Why I want this translation so badly: I am a big fan of Thomas the Tank Engine and researched the DS games last year. I have wanted to play this for a while, cause the only Thomas DS game in the West is Hero of the Rails, which is frankly really bad and less exciting. I have the original ROM and had trouble navigating through it because I don't understand Japanese.
  • Why I don't think this will come out in the West: NDS been dead.

Translation request threads are futile due to the sheer amount of work needed to make a fan translation of a game. Translators will put that effort towards the games they want the most usually.

Though I would like to list some games that have versions in English elsewhere for potential script transplants, so they could be possible to do without a human translator. (Though this also means less reason to translate them.) Don't consider these requests for the sake of the thread.

Coropata - Has a PC port on Steam in English! The graphics are kept the same too.
Crimson Room - Remake of a flash game that was available in English. (The translation is bad though.) Not sure if there's exclusive untranslated content.
G.G Series Collection Plus - The games that make up this collection were all released as individual DSiware in English.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna (4 games) - It's the famous visual novel series which has had plenty of different releases.
Inazuma Eleven 3 - Has 3DS versions in English
Suujin Taisen - Released via DSiware in English as "Number Battle", but I recall the DSiware version lacks some small things like wireless multiplayer.
Umihara Kawase Shun: Second Edition Kanzenban - The 2 games ported in this release have since had English releases on Steam. Very little text.
Wizmans World - Has an upcoming remaster (with AI upscaling lol) in English.

GAME TITLE: Code Geass DS: Hangyaku no Lelouch
RELEASE DATE: October 25, 2007
PUBLISHER/DEVELOPER: Bandai
GENRE: Turn based RPG
GAME DESCRIPTION: Code Geass DS: Hangyaku no Lelouch is a surprisingly good RPG covering the events from the anime's first season, with optional alternate events and endings. It features characters obsessed with world domination, and doing hilarious over-the-top gestures while twisting their bodies in awkward angles. A note I wanted to add is that I've never seen a DS game that uses the microphone actually know what you're saying. During Combat you can do a team ability by calling out characters like Ohgi, Kallen, Zero etc. it's amazing and I always smile whenever it works.

This project has already had a large work done with the only thing left is the game dialogue script but it was dropped for unknown reasons sadly. It would be amazing if a group could finish this on what was started!!

https://gbatemp.net/threads/code-geass-hangyaku-no-lelouch.105012/

POPULARITY IN JAPAN: 0.03m sales according the VGCharts
POSSIBILITY OF REMAKE: Absolutely zero. Ever since movie the entire original show has been retconned and I don't see them coming back to this timeline. Bandai is obsessed with F2P mobile games especially with Code Geass.

TRAILER(S):

While not a trailer, here is gameplay of the partial translation that exists

GAME TITLE: Super Robot Wars K (スーパーロボット大戦K)

GAME DESCRIPTION: Super Robot Wars K (スーパーロボット大戦K) is the tenth Super Robot Wars game for the Nintendo handheld systems and the third game for the DS.

The Bad is the game’s original protagonist (Mist Rex) is frequently criticized by the Japanese fanbase for his initially "whiny" and "a**holish" attitude. Furthermore, the original storyline and crossover execution are often considered lackluster compared to other titles.

POSSIBILITY OF REMAKE: That's absolutely 0 and never been said about the game.

TRAILER(S):

WHY I'M REQUESTING; Again as SRW fan I also want play this game with full english translation.
