Also you shouldn't play on a handheld without headphones anyway, ruins the experience for games with epic music.

Going have to disagree. I only used earphones for loud places or to keep from bothering others.

Not to increase experience, it the same for me with them off or on...

This. Headphones are only needed on loud places. No point using them on a quiet room.

don't know you guys audition level but using headphones adds a whole new depth to sound from handhelds speakers.. unnoticed instruments, stereo effect & the such.. at least for me and my old ears

as for this new model i don't know the point really with no wifi (can be okay) and mono sound (disapointing) .. should be left in Japan alone to challenge some the 3Ds on the price market until vita release IMHO
