Hacking New Matrix Reloaded and Psycedelic Themes

SoftMii has released two new Themes for Wii and the Tweak Tool. They are Matrix Reloaded and Psycedelic. These themes include new custom brlyts that allow display of full screen pictures up to 544x408 on the message board. See screenshots below for examples... This can be used to improve your themes for the Flatmii competition.

I'm actually in the process of doing that right now. I just don't understand what makes people think that looks good.

Well i guess forgetting to replace the old empty channel background just ruins everything. Anyways, enjoy the ability now to add full screen message board backgrounds. Thought that would have been at least worth an ata-boy but I guess I was expecting too much. So I'll say it myself.... Ata-Boy DMCBudman for hacking the message board background. Not a bad improvement getting it from 8x456 to 544x408.

Also as with the previous Matrix theme, the Health Screen uses a custom brlyt that only uses a single it_has_a and b files to display to all regions. Saves a nice little chunck of space in the .app

People who are good with benzin can compare source and see how some of the other effects were done.

Im guessing you meant LSD.... but the answer is no...... no blue barrel, no orange barrel, no blotter, no sugarcube.... not even microdot or mescaline.

Im guessing those all disappeared in the 80s.


BTW, i made all four cursors lego matrix charactors. 3 and 4 are female charactors. Can somebody with 4 controllers check them and see if they look ok.

Im feeling a bit lazy tonight and think I'll play some Rock Band 2 instead of renaming the tpls and repacking it to check the cursors out. If they're screwed up let me know and I'll fix them.

if you could find away so that i would have full screen health banner on my widesrceen TV instead of those black borders i would kiss your ass, well maybe not go that far.lol but still that would be a good feature for us widescreen LCD TV users

dude dont get us wrong the new themes are awsomeo!

but hey if i can make ONE suggestion, the little scrolling matrix text. Think you could slow down the scroll to make it look a tad more authentic?
thats the ONE prob i had with the theme from the begining^^

, you know I love the ability to manipulate things around the way you do

, and to all the judges please don't be like Simon ignoring the talent and picking on the sock color , if you don't like Softmii on your theme make your own and call it Screwmii if you want and if it's good people will use it , now on the other hand if you would have requested from the guys to make one without softmii in it they would have never mind but don't go calling the world and brag about it as being the creator like some people I've encountered before

Well i've been trying to figure this one out on my own, But having problems, i have managed to edit the brlyt file to get a fullscreen health screen Pic on a Widescreen TV

by editing here

I did get a full health screen Pic in widescreen with no borders mode but the problem is, it always distorts the pic, and it distorts the press A button also not sure why
well i think i'll just wait until someone does it, or any ideas has to what i need to do, to do this successfully maybe the correct value to insert, I dunno maybe i'm going about this the wrong way
