For all these people asking about rom compatibility, what the hell do you want fixed? There's already perfect compatibility with all games. I guess you could want download play fixes or something, but other than that, what could you possibly say needs to be done for rom compatibility.


Better homebrew support, and I think download play support is hard to fix.

Homebrew is already working great because of DLDI and I'm sure you're right about download play.

It just seems to me people are whining for no reason. When the card first came out, people wanted better skin support, and since there is now perfect rom compatibility (and they even added a soft reset mode), they started working on the skin features. Seems some people just can't be pleased.

well, the addition of changing the skin text is a welcome addition i suppose

Say i've only got 10 skins
could i delete folders 11 and 12 and it only cycle through 1-10?

tbh i wish there was more room to put skins in

lol 12 is not enough, i have well over 42 skins!

yes i find the calendar thing quite pointless when the date and time is showing at the bottom of the screen anyway! ¬_¬

yeah, scrap the calander thing tbh
have a config file that basically says how many theme files there are
all id like
then i just press select when im bored of my current one

Nothing to do with card speed - it's a well documented problem that occurs with all cards, including kingston japan/toshiba cards as well as sandisk ultra 2's.

Ok, well I tried both new updates......I don't like the one with the calender at all. Basically because it covers up the pic on the top screen, bleh.

The 2nd one is essentially the same thing as 1.06, but without the calender and extra themes....I'll use that one. Don't really use Moonshell for anything, so that matters little to me.


Now I'm gonna look through that R4DS skin thread and snatch up the Sonic one if I can.

Yes, this isnt because of Firmware of R4, this is because you have low speed MicroSD.

yes, some of the homebrew can be patched to DLDI format but half the time it's incompatible with the R4, so i use my ninjapass X9
