I suppose since I haven't seen a lot of the newer PMPs out there I can't say much. However, I can safely say the iTouch is the best one I've seen so far. I'm sure my mind could be changed in the future, however right now I'm gonna say that the iTouch definitely doesn't suck.
You're confusing the fools! You mean iPod Touch.

If I meant iTouchDS, I would throw the DS on the end.

All bashing aside, fanboys, I personally think Apple's iPod Touch is pretty good. Like, sure I spent a LOT on it ($210), but I like the features. Aside from having all the music and movies on my laptop (I don't listen to more than 4 gigs of music, thanks) and pictures AND having plenty of room left for apps, I'd say it's a good investment. You can bash it all you want, but in my opinion it's a rather nice MP3 player and then some. No, I'm not an Apple fanboy, I personally don't like anything from Apple aside from the iPod, but I'm just trying to tell you that it's not all bad. You all bash the iPod, but I'm sure you all can think of at least 5 things you like about the iPod as well.

So, just because some people don't like it, everyone is a fanboy?

And why is it that whenever someone says ipods are overpriced, someone comes up, and only talks about ONE ipod, defends it, and says that it's not overpriced? How about thinking about all the ipods in the lineup, folks?

The same can be said of the opposite Tropicana. (I want to stay out of this since I really don't know enough to participate in the argument) But your argument about people pointing towards ONE iPod is flawed because you are also pointing at a limited amount of competitors. There are certainly MP3 players that are worst in terms of value than the iPod.
Thanks PV, this's what I mean. People can't call a person on defending one iPod model if they don't compare all (or at least quite a few of) the PMPs out there to the iPod.

And as for bashing it, if you blatantly refuse to admit the iPod has a single good quality to it, then you're most likely a fanboy bashing the iPod to defend your own PMP you prefer. If I'm gonna bash on something, I'll at least give it its perks too. However, the bashers didn't even mention a single thing they liked about the iPod (and they're lying if they say there isn't a single one) and that really grinds my gears. However, syko is an exception as he did actually debate and not just mindlessly hate on the topic at hand. So kudos to syko - if you're gonna bash something, prepare for a defense. When the defense comes, debate, don't argue, about the topic.
I'll admit - the iTouch is the best in the series in my opinion. The nano is almost trying too hard to put too much into too small of a device. However, I hear the new features it has are extremely well done. Still, in my opinion it's a bit too much for me. As for the iPod Classic, it's a solid PMP, but I don't like the screen size (if you're watching videos) and I never was a huge fan of the click wheel. But still, the massive hard drive capabilities blow me away.
