Does this update break Mii-Manager? If not, maybe it is possible to inject code into a mii, and execute by doing something in the Mii channel?

No, it's not possible

I don't. I'm just speculating like he is.

So maybe it is. Let's give everyone something else to talk about. OMG MII EXPLOITS

I'm pretty sure it's been discussed, and pretty sure it's not possible. This is another thread that needs to be locked and done away with

Remember ... your Wii isn't your PSP =)

it was one of the first things tried (remember we could copy our mii's to our computers with bluetooth really early in the scene)

i remember dabling in a little bit of mii editing, and well it corrupted mii so i had to restore a backup

agree'd

A Mii is a simple data structure, it's not executable code. This is impossible.

(The data structure is just a string of data where its values have meaning, like):
Facetype = 5, 'Round head
EyeColor = 12 ' Green eyes
.
.
.

End of story =)

maybe you can exploit the photochannel

There will always be new exploits. Nintendo's developers aren't perfect and they are sure to make more mistakes. It will just take some time to find them.

i believe wiibrew said that they've found more exploitable bugs, and that they're sitting on them for the time being.

they already made the TP hack useable again, they just ent realeased it lol, see nintendo patch something, but then they use there old hack and just "upgrade" it, so they haven't really dont much to break nintendo once again. not saying it was super easy like "o look ok ill just add this and done" but the fact that nintendo made this whole "omg it delete the gamesave" adn the hackers but the save back on is just funny, see companies need to learn the homebrew is for just that homebrew and that the hack to load homebrew isnt used for piracy intentinaly, that just comes because people can, im sure team twiizer could make an iso loader or wad installer, but they dont want to because that isnt the point of homebrew.

Where does it say they fixed the problem? From what I read they have an Idea on how to fix it.
there was a bug in the patch that allowed them to fool the system into accepting the gamesave again. read more closely
