I used it on my 8Gb flashcard. It looked good but I saw that before the game starts it shows a purple screen. Also it never passed the purple screen when I tried to play hotel dusk. Just went back to 2.2. At least that one shows no purple screen and plays everything I try to play.
Noticed the weird purplish screen. But Hotel Dusk works for me. Was the first game I tried after the update. 8Gb too.

I don't understand what you mean, its better for skinners, specially the thing about the top screen, I see the same skin with that apple icon...

Nevermind. I get it! lol. Time to get to work!

So wait am I correct??

this update hasnt fixed the downplay issues
has fixed up general/small bugs/issues (like icons)
also fixed homebrew on the 16gb

I just wish that they would allow you to change the default folder for bootup (NDS) and I would like saves to be put in another folder in the next firmware. Oh, and proper scrolling, NOT just touch an empty bit on the bar to make it go down, actually being able to pull the knob up and down with the stylus. Just generally more polished like the G6 Lite.
What you describe is exactly how the G6 Lite menu works.

...word is bondage...

Have you used the US ROM or the European one? Also I wonder why this new upgrade is called 2.3 X and not just 2.3 and why its not on http://www.handheldsources.com/G6DS/Download.html yet. I hope the X doesn't mean experimental as in beta.

OK, Updated my 16Gbit card. SNEmul works great now! Looks like home brew is fixed.

EDIT: Lemmings loaded, but then froze on the start up screen

Yeah, I had a problem with AmplituDS at first. The music was crackling. But then I reloaded it and it was fine. So it does look like homebrew has been fixed.

And the new GUI is really nice. I'm so glad there's an actual image for the top screen now. And the six icon layout on the main menu is really nice.

Could someone please post a few screenshots of the new loader in action, as I've been considering picking up a G6RDS and would appreciate the extra incentive

I'll do it if noone else does it babelfish. All I have is the camera on my cell phone. And it's not even 5 megapixel. So the quality isn't that great. So I'll wait and see if someone else will do it with a better camera.

Aww man just when I sent mine back for a replacement due to a dead capacitor...the updated firmware comes out hmmph~!.

I wonder if a friend of mine should replace it too. It works ok but some games don't work for her. Maybe I will give her this new firmware to see if it will go better.

Cool. Now all that remains is the ability to skin the top screen.

Old skins still work btw, but that means there is no .ini file to configure colors, and some old skin files are no longer used

Why people think 8 bit pictures look bad? I bet you people use 24bit pictures thats why they look bad. If the picture is drawn in 8bit then I bet it will look pretty good.
