I think there are a couple of new cute girls in those scans. The angel-winged one I think is new anyways.

It has an English outlined translation of these scans. Apparently the angel chick (named Laviel) is in charge of the multiplayer features. You talk to her to begin multiplayer. You can have up to four people in multiplayer explore the world together or split up and explore it separated! If separated, you can call your friends up during battle to help, or they can just walk up and join in on their own.

And another feature is Gestures. Apparently, you can give your characters unique gestures such as jumping or special poses. You can use them to show of to your friends.

Start marketing Dragon Quest already, Nintendo! IV didn't sold so well in USA/EU, now you're tightening up the series with S-E to a good job in promoting V and VI! Such an amazing series shouldn't be doomed to obscurity around here... ):
