Hardware New Cpu for my system

hey!

I'm in the process of upgrading my CPU and would like some advice.

My current specs are: Cpu: AMD Athlon II x4 620
ram: 4 gig DDR 2
Gfx card: Nvidia GTX 460
Motherboard: Asrock K10N78FullHD-HSLI.
PSU: 460 W (dunno if you need this info)

I'm totally clueless when it comes to upgrading I normally ask a friend of mine to do it for me but I'm in no longer speaking terms with him.

I'm looking to play the latest games on my pc with good settings and my CPU seems to be the thing that's bringing me down especially in black ops.

I'd go with the second link you posted, since your motherboard is, I quote:
AM3 CPU Ready!

And that CPU is AM3.
