is there any advantage to update my cfw to newest version ???

I think my cfw are in 4.81/82 or 83 and it's either rebug or forrex cfw , kinda forget about this

Evilnat has a lot of features and online. If all you want to do is play backups, then you're fine where you're at.

Unless you're playing online or syncing trophies don't bother.
Without the latest firmware you might not be able to use your PS3 to watch the latest Blu-Ray movies either, but getting a standalone Blu-Ray player is cheap and easy.
