Hi.
Bricked my nand while trying to get otp. Where's the fun in the coldboot comfort zone, amirite? XD
I have everything setup for soldering, pin out images too. Thing is I'm not sure whether those I have are the right ones.

This one is supposedly correct.

Does yellow work as an alternative GND? I would like to avoid soldering that small resistor from the first image. :rofl2:

update:
Hardmod successful. MD5 matches on every dump I do.
The only problem now is that I can't write to nand. Error 1117 in both image tools I used.

anotha one
Solved it by gluing lock in.

Back to getting OTP. No screwing up this time.

anotha one:
a9lhax coldboot into aureinand.
Good luck to anyone who is going tosolder their 3ds.

I don't think it would, as this is CLK.
It's really funny how you read my mind. You scare me.
Pretty much yeah it's CLK :C

How did you get bricked? I feel really sorry for you... :(
Long story short.
python script was missing xorpad files but it did output sysnand.bin into unbricked folder.
I used it again with renamed xorpads and flashed it.

So can you confirm that I'm good to go with this one?
Even with soldering that poor little resistor.. :X

I don't see anywhere in the guide that you need to input xorpads to use the script...
They sit in the section 1 backups folder.

"
os.system('Resource\\3DSFAT16tool -d -n emuNAND_bricked.bin ctr.bin ../../Section_I/Backup/nand.fat16.xorpad')
os.system('Resource\\3DSFAT16tool -i -o emuNAND_bricked.bin ctr.bin ../../Section_I/Backup/nand.fat16.0x4.xorpad')
os.system('del ctr.bin')
"

Wow, never knew it uses that folder! Thanks for letting me know! And good luck with unbricking your 3DS!

How did you brick it?
Followed v1 guide and apart entry there was something wrong and 5m later they uploaded a fixed version after I got bricked...what are the odds ...

What I did with sd adapter is bend them the other way just enough so that I could solder them.
I'm talking about the motherboard...

I'm looking into it right now in the other thread. Thankfully people around are pretty knowledgeable and helpful. :^)

Thought I'd throw an update. It supposedly works with a bootrom screen if I put sdcard into laptop card-reader.
But I guess I'll have to get one of those from the "working" list. Or try other laptops that I have around. Just not that easy after all.
Cheers.
