Ah ok, getting clearer somehow to me now... Another question, is there a way to save my legit game if i needed a factory reset.?

you dont really need a tutorial for this

download jksm and load it up on your 3ds

redownloading your legit digital games are the same as psn. Sign in and go to eshop (note your nnid can only be linked to one 3ds console at a time)

First of all. You dont need a hacked 3DS to install NTRBoot anymore. Second, DSiWare has many uses after it. Heck I bought it for when I was going to do the transfer (then Safehax released). But I use it as a backup installer just in case I have to do a repair through nintendo, or if I need to uninstall CFW for a moment.

Just do the dsiwarehax method. It's less than five dollars versus twenty dollars. Only do ntrboot if you actually care about playing nds roms.

Not really that much but i guess its worth considering since the option is there,hehehe... Bdw, for the 11.3 version and using soundhax would i be able to play nds games with it?

No. That's why I said to do ntrboot if you care about playing nds games. A flashcart is required to play nds games.

I should have read the first post, if your on 11.3 firmware then follow, for soundhax, but its at your own risk .

The 3ds will run real NDS games of cartridge, no need to do any think.

you sound confused . . . Soundhax and ntrboot are not different cfw's (both are methods are just to install b9s and luma3ds cfw) regardless of method you want to do your 3ds will end up with b9s and Luma3ds... That said on a 3ds you need a ds flashcard to play nds roms regardless... Now if you use ntrboot as your installation point it would require a ds flashcard then when you are done installing b9s and Luma3ds you will still have your ds flashcard for use with nds roms

Thanks for the explanation... Its getting clearer to me slowly... So if i need to play ds games in the furure, i will still need my flashcard all the way on the console?

Don't use video guides. They are outdated and can brick your system. Follow https://3ds.guide.

If English is not your first language, there are several translations. Click the button in the top right that looks like a signpost and see if your native language is there.

honestly there is a way to play ds roms without a flashcard but its buggy and not compatible with with a lot of roms so its not often recommended
an r4i gold is the most recommended . . . personally i tell people to get a scds2 (its the strongest ds flashcard). . . but sadly that ds flashcard does not work with ntrboot (yet . . . support is planned)

Ok... I will study it first then.. By the way, r u familiar with the games from wii u usb helper? I know there r a bunch of 3ds games and even ds games from there... Can i use it once i already have homebrew?
