Not quite sure about this, but it seems 3D effects were added to the Netflix interface. I'm pretty sure they weren't there before.
They were. I know the NETFLIX at the splash screen is "within" the screen.

Because they have stuff they want to update other than blocking flashcarts.

Geez, after hearing all the people in this thread and across GBAtemp say "I hope this fixes the X issue in the Y update", I'm really glad I'm going to wait for the new model. *Looks at stockpile of unopened 3DS games waiting for the future.*

And there's probably going to be problems with the firmware when that happens.

oh there's no doubt about that! its always one problem after another, thats how technology develops but they seriously need to stop taking sonys advice. im just saying!

lol, they release this update right after I just got done pawning my 3DS. (I had to put some money in the bank account to prevent it from incurring massive overdraft fees). Guess I won't find out what effect the update has until my next paycheck.

As a matter of fact I had issues with the power button as well. Usually I have to hold it down for a good 2 seconds or press it repeatedly before the 3DS will turn on.

Once I get it out of the pawnshop next week I will know for sure whether or not that issue was fixed.

My 3DS is fricken awesome, what's the update for? I wish they would tell us what stability fixes they made.

One improvement I've noticed is that you can open the Internet Browser while in Netflix now without freezing the system. That's about all I wanted fixed, so I'm happy.

2.1.0-3U

And I can do that anyway...

I don't have a 3DS but according to the legal statement in the changelog, they can render your system permanently unplayable if they detect unauthorized devices. According to Rydian, this is against US law. However it could be just Nintendo's legal PR bluffing.

every1 knows they can, but WILL they? (answer prob not as it will break the law and a bunch of ther stuff that im not even gonna go into right now because its common sense that they will get in trouble for those actions)
