Hey
I had to take apart my new3ds, the normal version, not XL. After putting it back together everything works fine except the home button. The flex cable connector on motherboard that connects the home button feels a bit loose. If i press on the connector with my finger it works fine. Anybody know how to tighten the connector so it would make contact better?
See here mate: https://gbatemp.net/threads/thoughts-on-new-3ds-xl-nand-out-location.375806/
Long story short, leave it, don't try bend it or anything
probably put some blutac or something, i ended up snapping mine off![]()
Blutac didnt help. Why would they use such stupid connectors? And why in the world do the connectors have that bendable part which just ruins the connector if u lift it up. Any idea where u can purchase those connectors? I have proper tools at my work so shouldnt be too hard to change it completely. Thanks for the tips.
