Hey man theres still no news from you. Could you let us know what are the serials on the back of the LCDs?
Id appreciate it a lot :)))

Nice! And how it it to disassemble the top screen case?

Cause instead of wasting 278 more bucks on a new 3ds with a different color (i regret buying my current gray one), i can just order the separate case parts on ebay when they become available.

Hey

I had to take apart my new3ds, the normal version, not XL. After putting it back together everything works fine except the home button. The flex cable connector on motherboard that connects the home button feels a bit loose. If i press on the connector with my finger it works fine. Anybody know how to tighten the connector so it would make contact better?

Blutac didnt help. Why would they use such stupid connectors? And why in the world do the connectors have that bendable part which just ruins the connector if u lift it up. Any idea where u can purchase those connectors? I have proper tools at my work so shouldnt be too hard to change it completely. Thanks for the tips.

They use "stupid connectors" because A: They lower the cost of the device for the end consumer - And B: They consider opening the console a warranty void anyway.
