i upgraded my axe from basic to silver and i still cant seem to chop up the stumps what am i doing wrong.

this Harvest Moon is ALOT more complex then any of the previous 2D Harvest Moon's everything costs money and is so expensive and time seems to get faster and the world is so big that its hard to get anywhere without wasting half the day. even the controls are more complex......its so overwelming. I think im going to be forced to use soem sort of money cheat, and the whole leveling up and upgrading items system is weird......you have to go see a guy and bring him a ton of money and some ore, not to mention you have to go through all the trouble of getting it to upgrade status, in the SNES Harvest Moon all you had to do was use it to level it up, im impressed by the complexity of this game but its also a little to much for me to handle

I am totally new to the harvest moon world and I must say I am already totally hooked up.
I would never have thought watering crops and raising chickens would be so much fun.

By the way is there another way of getting seeds than buying them?
And can Items be stored?

0.o yea it is more complicated than the 2d ones, in the playstation version after a while you get soo much money you can't even spend it all.
