What if you downgrade your wii to a PAL? mine is NTSC and ive tried everything!! nothing works, whats wierd is all of mydownloaded games are PAL and mite aswell downgrade to 3.2E PAL, ill try to see if it works.

Please take precautions before you attempt to change your wii's region. If done improperly you will brick.

For the newer games all you need to is get the NFS ISO and use the waninkoko ISO patcher and patch it to IOs 249 and it should work fine, will post soon once my ISO is downloaded.. test it and post results soon

Downloading NTSC ISO will be done in couple of hours and will post results soon, if someone already has the ISO whatever version patch it to 249 and see if that works. From what i have known it should work fine but who knows lol

it should work with the latest softchip r61. i didn't try it tho.

Yeah. install IOS55...

It's not a modchip-only solution. It's a "I don't wanna update" solution that works for originals too.

I wrote a cIOS55 installer which installs IOS55 with the IOS36 dip with the rev7 backup patch as IOS55. This cIOS loads backups, but not the new Need for Speed, so it's confirmed: softmod users have to wait for a new dip based on the IOS55 dip. I used the IOS36 dip, because the dip patch could not be applied to the IOS55 dip.

yesterday i ran a legitimate game and got the #001 error- illegal device detected (or whatever ). as far as i know, it only came up before with copied mario games.

i was able to cut the power and reboot without any problems.

i'm running wiikey1 (latest firmware) and the latest update from nintendo.
